Holiday Shoppe

The annual Holiday Shoppe event at the schools is just around the corner! Holiday Shoppe  allows children to pick out small items that they can give to family and friends. It is fun for the kids because they get to select the gifts, budget their money, and what they buy is a surprise for the recipients.
Because many Salt Creek students required one-on-one assistance to shop, this year we moved Salt Creek shopping to an evening time so parents could come with the Salt Creek students and either shop with them - or have assistants help them shop. The schedule is:
Tuesday, Dec. 11 - Swartz during the day
Wednesday, Dec. 12 - Swartz during the day
Wednesday, Dec. 12 - 4:30-7 p.m. at Swartz (for Salt Creek students and anyone else who wants to come)
Friday, Dec. 14 - Albright during the day

Can you Volunteer for Holiday Shoppe?

Holiday Shoppe takes a lot of volunteers to run - we can really use your help! Volunteers are needed for all the time slots Holiday Shoppe is open. If you are able to help, please contact Kate Beckwith for further details at or text her at 630-667-3330.

Personalized Items Available!

As part of our Holiday Shoppe, we are offering personalized items for sale again this year. The entire sale amount for these items goes towards FTC - a district parent is creating all the handmade items and donating the sales money. Items are priced from $4-$12, and give you a variety of first-quality items personalized for your family - including necklaces, ornaments, bracelets and keychains.
Order online Here. There are several more items online than available on the order forms that came home.
Deadline for orders is Friday, Dec. 7. If you get them in by this Friday, Nov. 30 you are guaranteed to get them for the Holiday Shoppe, otherwise they will be sent home with your child before winter break.

Craft Donations Wanted

Do you craft? Are you willing to donate items that would sell for under $10 to our Holiday Shoppe? Last year FTC raised over $1,000 from the sale of handmade items alone at the Holiday Shoppe - so donations can really help. See flyer Here for further details.
