Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week is MAY 4-8! This year's theme is Totally 90's and FTC has some great things planned for our amazing District 48 staff! Keep an eye out for flyers coming home with your students for daily activities to thank teachers and staff!

Wednesday 4/15 | Family STEAM Night

Join FTC for our annual Family STEAM Night at Salt Creek on Wednesday, April 15, 6-7:30 PM! There is science, technology, engineering, art and math fun for everyone! We are excited to be joined by Dave DiNaso's Traveling World of Reptiles plus FTC will be hosting it's own engineering building contest! All ages can enjoy all parts of this even so bring the whole family!

All Mondays in April | Dominick's Dine Out

Lots of opportunities for dine out dinners in April at Dominick's Pizza in Villa Park! Get your pizza and pasta from 3 to 9 PM on Mondays and proceeds will benefit FTC!

Flower & Plant Sale Pickup Reminder!

Flower & Plant Sale Pickup is 5/2!

Your plants and flowers are almost here! Pickup your orders on Saturday, May 2 from 10:30 AM to 12 PM at Swartz! If you ordered, keep an eye on your email for more pickup details. Didn't have a chance to order? Come during the pickup hours to shop - limited quantities of veggies, herbs and annual plants will be for sale! We are looking for volunteers to help out on pickup day - any time you can contribute will help - sign up here!

Monthly FTC Meetings

April FTC Meeting

FTC meetings are the third Monday of each month at 7 PM, unless otherwise posted. Meeting info can always be found here and on the FTC calendar. New members are always welcome to learn about what FTC does and different ways you can get involved! Involvement can be large or small, we appreciate any way you can give your time! We love to hear new ideas and see new faces! Save the date for our next regular meeting on Monday, April 20 at 7:00 PM in the Albright cafeteria! Please join us!

Where Does Your Money Go?!

As we continue in the 2025-2026 school year, FTC is so grateful for all of the items we have already been able to fulfill for our our District 48 teachers and students! FTC tries to hold a variety of fundraisers throughout the year so you can participate as you wish! Have you asked yourself what the money raised has been used for? We are here to tell you! During the 2024-2025 school year, FTC funded items totaling approximately $33,000. So far, for the current school year, FTC has funded the following:

The FTC Directory is a great place to find information to connect with other District 48 families - find contact information for your student's new friends here! To see and also be added to the directory, you will need to create an account on the FTC website here. Once you create an account, fill out the parent and student information form and choose your directory publishing choices. Once this is complete, you will see the Directory link in the navigation at the top of the website. Please keep in mind that it is each parent's choice to be included and what information is published.
