Tuesday 3/10 | Taste of District 48

Don't make dinner on Tuesday, March 10 and join FTC, 5:30-7 PM at Salt Creek, as we host local restaurants, who will serve sample portions of their favorite dishes! Try one or try all and find a new or old favorite restaurant! Mingle with other district families, enjoy the local food and check out the raffle!

Admission is $7/person or $25/family. Water, lemonade and dessert are provided by FTC and pop will be available for $1.

We are excited to host the following restaurants - Bruster's Ice Cream, Dak Dak Korean Wings, Dominick's Pizza, Fry the Coop, Gulliver's Pizza, Lazy Dog, Lezza Spumoni & Desserts, Los Burritos Mexicanos, Mama Maria's Pizza, Poppie's Pasta, Simon's Restaurant, Tong's Tiki Hut and Villa Perk Coffee Co.

Flower & Plant Sale Fundraiser!!

Spring is almost here and FTC is having our 2nd annual flower and plant fundraiser! We will have hanging baskets, planters, annual flowers, accent plants, herbs, vegetables and more available for pre-order with a pickup date of May 2, just in time for Mother's Day! Order forms should have come home with your student or you can order online here. Please share with friends and family! This is a great way to get the gardens and flowerbeds started for the summer! Approximately 50% of proceeds benefit FTC! Order deadline is Friday, March 20.

Don't worry if you have a conflict with the pickup time or date. We will work with everyone that orders to ensure you get your items!

FTC Directory

The FTC Directory is a great place to find information to connect with other District 48 families - find contact information for your student's new friends here! To see and also be added to the directory, you will need to create an account on the FTC website here. Once you create an account, fill out the parent and student information form and choose your directory publishing choices. Once this is complete, you will see the Directory link in the navigation at the top of the website. Please keep in mind that it is each parent's choice to be included and what information is published.

What Has FTC Funded?

As we get into the 2025-2026 school year, FTC is so grateful for all of the items we have already been able to fulfill for our our District 48 teachers and students! FTC tries to hold a variety of fundraisers throughout the year so you can participate as you wish! Have you asked yourself what the money raised has been used for? We are here to tell you! During the 2024-2025 school year, FTC funded items totaling approximately $33,000. So far, for the current school year, FTC has funded the following:

Monthly FTC Meetings

FTC meetings are the third Monday of each month at 7 PM, unless otherwise posted. Meeting info can always be found here and on the FTC calendar. New members are always welcome to learn about what FTC does and different ways you can get involved! Involvement can be large or small, we appreciate any way you can give your time! We love to hear new ideas and see new faces! Save the date for our next regular meeting on Monday, March 16 at 7:00 PM in the Albright cafeteria! Please join us!
