Snow and holidays have arrived! FTC would like to say THANK YOU for joining us in November and always! We are so grateful for your continued support - we had a blast at Casino Night, which was a huge success and everyone had such a great time! We hope everyone enjoyed their meals from Wendy's and Chipotle plus thank you to everyone who participated in the Butterbraids & Cookie Dough fundraiser!

December 2, 3 & 5 | Holiday Shoppe

Swartz & Albright students have the opportunity to do holiday shopping THIS WEEK for parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, pets and more! Students will come home with an envelope that you can enclose cash, check or credit card info in. You can also prepay here. Checks need to be payable to Salt Creek School District 48 FTC. Butterbraids & Cookie Dough PICKUP This Wednesday 12/3 - 4:30-5:30 PM

Did you or your family and friends purchase butterbraids or cookie from November's fundraiser? Pickup is this coming Wednesday, December 3, 4:30-5:30 PM at Stella May Swartz School - 17W160 16th Street, Oakbrook Terrace. You will receive all orders purchased through your student's fundraising page and you are responsible for delivery of those items to the purchaser. Please park in the parking lot by the gym and go in through the gym doors for pickup.

Winter Break Dave & Buster's Fundraiser | 12/22 - 12/31

FTC will be selling Dave & Buster's $20 power cards over winter break, December 22-31! Get your power cards here in advance, then spend an evening playing games over break! Share the link with family and friends - power cards can be used at any Dave & Buster's location! 50% of proceeds will be donated back to FTC! More info to come!

The FTC Directory is a great place to find information to connect with other District 48 families - find contact information for your student's new friends here! To see and also be added to the directory, you will need to create an account on the FTC website here. Once you create an account, fill out the parent and student information form and choose your directory publishing choices. Once this is complete, you will see the Directory link in the navigation at the top of the website. Please keep in mind that it is each parent's choice to be included and what information is published.

What Has FTC Funded?

As we get into the 2025-2026 school year, FTC is so grateful for all of the items we have already been able to fulfill for our our District 48 teachers and students! FTC tries to hold a variety of fundraisers throughout the year so you can participate as you wish! Have you asked yourself what the money raised has been used for? We are here to tell you! During the 2024-2025 school year, FTC funded items totaling approximately $33,000. So far, for the current school year, FTC has funded the following:

Monthly FTC Meetings

FTC meetings are the third Monday of each month at 7 PM, unless otherwise posted. Meeting info can always be found here and on the FTC calendar. New members are always welcome to learn about what FTC does and different ways you can get involved! Involvement can be large or small, we appreciate any way you can give your time! We love to hear new ideas and see new faces! There is no meeting in December so save the date for our next regular meeting on Monday, January 12 at 7:00 PM in the Albright cafeteria! Please join us!
