Welcome Back to School!

Welcome back to school! This will be the new FTC monthly newsletter where we will highlight past and upcoming events and fundraisers!

Announcements

Please take the time to fill out the 2024/2025 back to school forms! You can do so physically with the forms that came home with your student or digitally on the FTC website here! There is a room party parent volunteer form, membership/volunteer form and donation form! By filling out the membership form, you have the option of having your information available in the FTC directory, allowing you to connect with other families! Please have forms completed by September 13!

Wednesday 9/11 | Pokemon Night!

Don't miss the return of the ever popular Pokemon Night! Come join the fun! Show off your cards, trade with friends or just come and see what all the excitement is about.

Make a Pokémon craft, trade cards, learn about Pokémon, have Pokémon snacks and hang out with friends!! All district families are welcome! Click the image for more info!

Tuesday 9/24 | McTeacher Night!

FTC is partnering with McDonald's located at 190 E. Butterfield Rd in Elmhurst from 4 to 8 pm!

Teachers from District 48 attend this dine out to meet new students and families, as well as reconnect with prior students!! It's a great opportunity to support FTC as well as see your new teachers and visit with prior ones! Click the image for more info!

Saturday 10/19 | FTC Fall Fest!

Join FTC for our annual Fall Fest! We will have carnival games, crafts, trick or treating and a bake sale!

Volunteer Opportunities

FTC events can't take place without volunteers! Volunteer options generally include helping with set up and/or clean up, or 1 hour shifts at different stations at an event! One volunteer shift per family goes a long way toward putting on the community building events! We are currently looking for volunteers for Fall Fest on Saturday, October 19! Room Party Planning Meeting: Monday 9/16

Join us on Monday, September 16 for the annual FTC Room Party Planning meeting at 7:00 PM followed by the regular monthly FTC meeting at 7:30 PM. Click here for more info!

Fall FTC Fundraiser

Keep an eye out for our fall fundraiser books coming home with students at Salt Creek and Swartz! Books are available at Albright in the office. Get a jump start on holiday shopping all while supporting FTC! Fundraiser will be open October 1-18.

Monthly FTC Meetings

FTC meetings are the third Monday of each month at 7 PM, unless otherwise posted. Meeting info can always be found here and on the FTC calendar. New members are always welcome to learn about what FTC does and different ways you can get involved! Involvement can be large or small, we appreciate any way you can give your time! We love to hear new ideas and see new faces!

SAVE THE DATE for FTC Casino Night!

Back and better than ever, save the date for FTC's Casino Night on Friday, November 8 at 6:30 pm at Angelo's Ristorante in Elmhurst! Don't know much about casino card games? Don't fear, our dealers are here to help you learn so all can enjoy! This event is adults only and tickets will need to be purchased in advance. More details to come soon!

Albright Sports Concessions

FTC is looking for YOUR help to run concessions at Albright home games! Volunteer times will be 4-5 pm or 5-6 pm. Sign up here.

Year End Celebration

Thanks to all of the families who joined us at the End of Year Social to wrap up the 2023-2024 school year! Families enjoyed Kona Ice and Molcajete tacos to kick off summer!

Back to School Social

Many families enjoyed our annual Back to School Social where students socialized with old and new friends, bounced their hearts out, got their faces painted and enjoyed yummy snacks and tacos from Molcajete!
